Orientation session (1)

For the Wednesday session (21 October) everybody should:

1. Take half an hour to carefully reflect on what information and communication technologies we already use at home and/or in the classroom, noting down ideas/comments/personal experiences (both positive and negative) so that every member of the seminar will be ready to contribute to the seminars.
2. Use the internet to access the Wikipedia entry for 'blog', noting down the main points along with any other aspects of particular interest to them so that they are ready to participate in a discussion about blogs. Participants should print out the entry to bring it with them to the seminar for reference purposes.
